The next big thing in recipes

The next big thing in recipes

Recipes and food bring people together.

Our grandparents and our parents did it, so why can’t we? Cooking without a recipe is innovative, a genius thing to do. Have you ever listened to that little voice in your head?

Almost every day, I find myself thinking about the many different combinations of ingredients and spices I can create. Don’t get me wrong, and I don’t get up every day and immediately think about food. That is something my oldest sister will do and inherit from my mom. LOL

We are innovators

All of us create recipes almost every day! And if someone tells you otherwise, don’t believe them. We do develop recipes every day!

Picture this! You wake up one morning, and your stomach suddenly starts talking to your brain. Signals are flying inside you. You start feeling hungry. What happens then? You start thinking about food.

Egg, tomatoesspinach, cheese, orange juice, tea, and one strip of bacon to be naughty. Those are recipes you are creating in your head.

Egg, tomatoes, spinach, and cheese served on ciabatta bread, french baguette, or brioche bread. If you have time and have all the ingredients, you will cook breakfast. If not, the alternative is the nearest cafe.

You arrive at the nearest cafe or eatery. You place your order and select the ingredients to add to your egg dish. This is the start of creating a recipe.

So what’s the next big thing in recipes again? I am not sure I mentioned it before. It is “TASTE.”

I found …

I started blogging as a hobby back in 2013. Back then, it was about sharing my latest cravings, following food trends, and what I learned about food since childhood.

I got bored and tired. Every time I would get an email about a recipe idea or someone asking me how to cook Caribbean food, I would cringe. I did not sign up for this. But wait! Why did I start blogging again?

I became resilient. I became more sharing. Passion took over.

Happiness is an adjective that I branded in my brain. What makes you happy? For me, it is making people feel better, showing them that food can make you happy. Food can literally put a smile on anyone’s face. What happens when you give a starving person food? Think about it.

My wheels started turning. I was myself again. The one I’ve been searching for. I created Noubess!

What is Noubess?

Noubess is a line of condiments and spices. Here we go with recipes again. I don’t call myself a food scientist, and I think I should. No, no… let me stop. I certainly don’t have the professional qualifications.

Mixing herbs and spices is the next big thing in recipes. After creating my hot and spicy condiments, I wanted to be more creative with cooking. I wanted everyone to cook tasty meals and still do.

When reading a recipe, I can tell if the food will taste good or not. There it is again, TASTE. Reading a restaurant menu, you want to believe that their vocabulary to describe the food is actually accurate. I still go back to that place in my brain where I store what I’ve learned in school. I do remember a few lectures from my consumer behavior class.

For me, Noubess adds flavor to any dish. It is hot, and it is spicy. There’s no doubt that it may be a bit too hot for some people. But from all the events Gemma’s Living attended, the taste is the winner.

I created the condiments without a recipe. Just adding this, and that, and a dash of happiness. I still remember the day when I created the recipes for my condiments. It was a sunny day, and Spring was approaching. I created the next big thing in recipes.
