INGREDIENTS

  • 1-2 teaspoons dried hibiscus tea leaves
  • 1 Cup of water
  • Sweetener optional
  • Other Ingredients: Cinnamon stick mint leaves, lime wedge (Optional)

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Boil water in an electric kettleAdd dried hibiscus flowers into the teapot. Alternatively, you can use fresh hibiscus flowers. Note: Always ensure you use food-grade hibiscus flowers. Cover the teapot and steep tea for up to 10 minutes. Strain the tea to remove the flower solids. For a sweeter tea, add sugar, honey, or sweetener of your choice to taste. Also, you can add lemon, cinnamon, or mint for enhanced flavor.Pour the tea into a teacup and enjoy.
